My Soul Thirsts for God!

Morning Prayer from the Divine Office started with Psalm 42.

“As a doe longs for running streams, so longs my soul for you, my God.”

I had the great privilege of sharing with a friend in Christ today. She reminded me of the relationship part of why we pray. We love God and God loves us. God is my soulmate. I am better for knowing God, the God who knew me first.

Yes, more. I want to know more of God. Knowing God makes me more loving, more at peace, more forgiving, more grateful.

Praise be to God my hope, my joy, my soul’s desire.

So much more to reflect on.. mostly just need quiet time with my God, my love!
